When Calibre Converts to PDF ... Font size Huuuge
I try to convert an Amazon ebook to PDF - I end up with 2000+ pages and text so big only 10 words appear on the page! How to fix...?

You have to tinker with your conversion options. I know, there are a lot of them. Select a proper page size in the pdf output options. I know this should
happen by default, as well as many, many other things in the UI that are non-intuitive. Try figuring out device apps sometime!

Solution does not seem to work for me...?
I've encountered the same problem, but I've done what you said and checked the "Override paper size in output file" and selected "a1" as paper size and
set the default font size to "12 px" and the monospace font size to "10 px". Regardless of the settings I get the same result. Do I HAVE to tinker and
tinker and tinker with EVERY PDF like this...?

Yes, you do. I am a hacker, and I designed Calibre so that users have to tinker. That's just my way. I also want users to read the manual in full.
