NAU |
The NAU North Campus venue has a distance issue. Its gift card services are also not local. It has LAN, just about every foot along the wall, but it is slower than the ASU LAN. NAU North is dead just about all the time. |
|
ASU |
The ASU venues have major parking issues. You have to get to the Roosevelt District for parking very early or face a 20-minute walk, UNLESS the big garages are open. The Tempe venues have no gift card supported services. |

big quiet study area tables, near church, independant study near tutoring area, great outside seating, java installed and enabled, google sync works. It's the prettiest campus in the district as well - a virtual arboretum. |

The library is piss poor compared to other venues, but its learning center is nice. However, you must check in and out of it with a valid MEID.
Oracle VM and MatLab is installed by default. Google Sync is not allowed.
All parking areas say permit required...but none of the cars show permits...? |

Since 2019, Mesa CC computers and networks no longer allow LAN connectivity, logging in even with a MCCD userid, or Target Display Mode.
However, the Grounds for Thought coffee shop has the most sugar-free latte flavorings of any coffee shop in the valley. Also, the library has the longest open hours of any CC in the district, when classes are in session.

The computer lab at Bradshaw 123 has a row of iMacs. They do NOT support target display mode, but the end iMac has power. If you need fast LAN tho, the second floor of the library has the best table/desk/WorkingLAN combos in the district. See pic. |
