| Automation of Excel Charts using VBA |
Automated performance visibility charts using VBA for Excel to enhance work efficiency with SQL Server; automation project eliminated the need for manual update
and reduced operating time from 1 hour to 5 minutes. |
| Inventory Visibility Web Application |
As a member of a 3-person team, developed a 2-tier ASP application to track inventory levels and department
performance measures using a SQL Server database; also automated TSO mainframe-based SAS programs to enhance the
efficiency of data compilation, Application allowed division personnel and managers to retrieve their own data,
significantly reducing personnel hours required for IT labor. |
| Autosurplus Application |
Maintained and operated large-scale SAS application hosted on TSO mainframe. ApplicationÍs main function was to predict inventory overstock and surplus
data for division personnel; responsible for applicationÍs reliability and accuracy during major changeover of all application data sources from
mainframe-hosted to Unix-hosted Oracle data bases. |
| Overtime Application |
Developed a 2-tier ASP web application that replaced a manually-intensive, tedious process for monitoring overtime for a 300-person division. |
| Kitting Designer Application |
Maintained and operated a large-scale, three-tier Visual Basic application that managed standard parts inventory for Boeing 777 final assembly line.
Application included custom components and a custom ActiveX DLL built in-house to communicate with the SQL server database; reliability was dubious
due to age, but critical to smooth operation of final assembly standard parts areas, had high visibility, and required considerable vigilance to
effectively maintain. |
